Margaret Crenshaw is a 50-year resident of Hilton Head Island. Having spent almost her entire lifetime on this beautiful resort island, Margaret is well versed in the island's lifestyle and real estate opportunities. She excels in primary, secondary or investment residential homes and is happy to provide her expertise on lots, commercial real estate and new construction as well.

Margaret graduated from Sea Pines Academy (now Hilton Head Prep), then attended Auburn University, where she graduated with a BFA in Theatre. She worked as Production Manager at the HH Playhouse and has performed there and with the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. However, Margaret has focused most of her career in the hospitality industry; Property Management, 20 years as Sales Director of a private catering company, Private Chef, and CEO of her own cleaning business until 2016.

Volunteerism has always been a part of Margaret’s life. She is a 20-year member and current president of the Hilton Head Prep Alumni Board, where her daughter Ellery also graduated in 2015. She resides on the board for Sea Glass Stage Company, Hilton Head’s newest community theatre. She is a proud member of Women in Philanthropy as well as Women in Real Estate.

Margaret writes a monthly column for CH2 magazine about the Island’s early development, hoping to bring the island’s history to those who are new to the area. She is also the co-host of a weekly podcast called “Mondays with Maggie” where she and local TV personality, Jesse Blanco of Eat It and Like It, discuss the island’s food scene and lifestyle.

Margaret strives to provide exceptional service to those who love this island as much as she does. She considers the island's unique "pluff mud" to be a part of her DNA and is very grateful to share her rich experience of this island with others!
